This morning we have been learning about Solids and Liquids. We did a class brainstorm to gather information on what we currently know about Solids and Liquids.

My time at the Ambury Farm

My time at Ambury  Farm was very amazing and also wonderful when we got there we had to line up and get into groups after that we went to the instructor that was waiting for us at the forward so we can know what and were we are going to do. After we listen to the instructors we went and followed the other instructor and the year 7 & 8 went with the other instructor, Finally we went in to the shed so we can do our activity we did some games on of the games were input and output we enjoyed that.

When we finished that we had to go and see how they milk the cows, when we go there we took 1 or maybe 4 steps in the cow shed and it really smelt like cows pooh and also the instructor smelt like cows pooh aswell because the cow pooh on her and also it said that it is a great day when a cow poohs on you.

After that she said to say aaaaaaaaaaa and open up your mouth so then we did it and motu was the only one to do it then the instructor got the cows tees and spread all the milk on motu's face.

After that we got to see the animals and also got to feed the animals as well I was very happy and grateful.

Achievements:	Troy Polamalu wanted to achieve the best NFL defensive player of the year award.
History:	Troy Polamalu has been one of the best safeties the NFL has ever known.Troy Polamalu did 22 tries for the Pittsburgh steelers.Troy Polamalu, is an American football strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football and he is also Samoan too.

Troy Polamalu plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers and also played for college  University football in Southern California. Troy rushed for 671 yards with nine touchdowns and had three interceptions in one game. Troy has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers since October 5th on Wednesday 2009.

Troy Polamalu's full name is Troy Aumua Polamalu. He is talented in football and also being a father as well. He got injured in 2008 because his knee cap went out of place when he was playing against Miami Dolphins.

Saint Pius X Feast Day

On Wednesday 21 of August is the feast day of Saint Pius X. His real name is Joseph Sarto and he got that name Saint Pius X when he was a pope. He is dead and that is so sad but he was a very nice man to the poor and also to the children of his own community.

Where did my teacher go

Last week Miss G went to Australia with Mrs Tui to go and check out the schools in Melbourne because Saint Pius wanted to know about their learning in their classrooms. Miss G went to 8 different schools, Miss told us that they have three of our classrooms stuck together to make one massive classroom. She left Saint Pius at 3:30pm on Tuesday and came back on Monday at 1:30am. 

We stayed back at school and my favourite part was when we had to pair up  into 2's for our cookie construction. I was with Alecia, we did very well and I think it was very, very GOOD!

When miss G came back she brought us a beautiful Koala with a boomerang.
