Short News Report

Kiwi Sport.

Yesterday we had golf, it was so exciting, we got to learn a lot about snag golf and how it works, we played a few games to start us of with.
Our task was to hit the bulls eye then we scream out snag, our coach was Cambell, he taught up some pretty good skill on how to play the game, we can wait for our next lesson.

News report: Food Technology

Technology:

At Tech we made a lot of food, we really enjoyed eating and making it, my favorite recipe was chicken kebabs on a stick.

Firstly we had to cut the chicken into cube and then we had to dip it into soy sauce. The we got, eggplant, capsicum, mushrooms and red onions, we chopped it up into equal parts and poked it through the kebabs stick.

Meanwhile after we finished all our items we put it carefully into the oven, and lifted it until the chicken turned Golden. We were the first to finished, we took a bite and it felt like we were in paradise. We love technology!!

Mathletics 2016

Today in Maths I earn over 1000 point, and my reward was a bronze certificate. Now I am working toward a silver certificate.

Prototec Result 2016. Term 3 Week 9

Today for my Prototec result I got 30/40, I haven't progressed because I got 10 wrong and my time was 3 minutes and 56 seconds. Hopefully Next term I can get over 30 and reach the 40/40 plot.

Today we had a very special day, because it was our Patriot Saint's Feast day. We had a lovley mass followed by a special treat in our school hall.

Narrative Writing

I found a strange package by the door. I thought it was a gift from a friend. I look at the package, it was sent from china. My phone started to ring consistently. I answered it, A strange voice tells me to hurry up and get out of the house it’s a bomb, I ran as quickly as I can but it was to late, BOOM!! The house explodes my good memories had now come to an end. I was badly injured but I managed to survive.

I hurried to the back where the garage was, I hurried into my Chevrolet blazer and off I went to Chinatown. I had finally made it to my location. I traced the phone location that rang me before the house exploded, I arrived I could feel myself telling me to leave, but I went in, as I walked out of my car I could hear a voice talking to another voice, As I got closer I recognize the voice it was the same voice that called me.

Finally I spot him walking out I approached him with anger, I yell at him in the dark. I couldn’t see him properly, but he had a nice smell. I asked myself “ he  has the same smell as my brother”. With fright I asked brother, As he replied YES!!. It was a misunderstanding, my stupid brother sent it to the wrong house. “You own me a new house as I said”. 
Even though I was almost killed, I still love him..

On a beautiful winter morning Naruto, Obito and Itachi, had traveled to beijing, After the big world war shinobi. When they arrived they all went to the sea.

Suddenly Naruto, Itachi and Obito now are at war. A huge giant sea monster, splashes out of the water. Sharingan time!!, as Itashi "screams with a fearful heart."

It was time for battle they all us their special ability, Naruto takes the first hit, he misses the sea monster. Sadly they all missed and it was time for the monster to attack. With all their might they combined together and they were unstoppable. They fought with all their might until the sea monster fell.

Finally victory was theirs and the sea monster was defeated, Now they could have their vacation.

CYBERSMART

Constable Gordon was talking to us about cybersmart and Digital communication.

Do you know what Digital communication is?.

Digital communication is a way of communicating with each other online. I learnt from Constable Gordon that, if you post something online, it will never be erased, because of the online providers with still retrieve the information.

I really enjoyed listening to Constable Gordon because of now I know more about being smart online.

Learning Journal Experience

My experience in doing the Winter learning Journal was so amazing, I really got to learn more about the Olympics, I really enjoyed this activity's that Rachel had give us. It was a great and challenging experience but at the end it really makes you happy. Here is a photo of us receiving our certificates, I really hope there would be another activity for the end of term 3 holiday.

Suddenly Sydney started to sing, Detroit was so annoyed and got so mad, that it looked like he was going to hit her but he didn’t, Detroit “shouted and shouted” telling Sydney to be quiet. Sydney “shouted” back they had a huge argument. Detroit turned around mad?

Out of nowhere Sydney began to sing with her friends. they sang like they were in a choir. They thought Detroit liked it. After the great song Sydney and Detroit became friends.

Sadly Detroit tooked Sidney's Guitar and threw it like a rugby ball into the fire. Then Detroit happily went back to sleep.

Overall Detroit and Sydney had a tough relationship but they are still brothers and sisters

Winter Journey DAY 4 Activity 1

Rieko Ioane is a young speedstar who currently plays for the Auckland Blues. He made his debut last year at only 17 years old.  Rieko was selected for the New Zealand Rugby Sevens team to compete at the Rio Olympics 2016.

Three interesting facts about him are:
- Him and his brother (Akira Ioane) are both playing in the New Zealand Sevens team.
- He attended Auckland Grammer School
- And he plays Center/Winger.

Rugby Sevens Poem:
Travelling to Rio would be so AWESOME, reporting on Rugby in the beautiful sun. New Zealand representing us loud and proud, seeing the support from the Kiwi Crowd puts a smile on my face. seeing our country all embrace knowing that we are all part of Gods eternal grace.

Basketball is a really challenging game. it is played by people all over the world. It can help you with your speed and it will also help you get fit, I really like Basketball my Favorite team is Chicago Bulls.

One Tree Hill:

The Beehive:

The Beehive is the nickname of New Zealand's parliament building in Wellington, at the southernmost tip of North Island. Established in the 1960s, the Beehive stands as a national symbol of New Zealand

Mount Cook: 

Mount Cook, is the tallest mountain in New Zealand, reaching over 12,000 feet. This the Mountain Sir Edmund Hillary trained on before he could accomplish Mount Everest

Episode 1 Vinicius and Tom

Summary: In These short Video Vinicius and Tom are chasing a yellow and blue ball. They have been going wild and they can stop. They are almost there with catching the ball, suddenly both of the balls are on top of the mountain and they can't wait to catch it. They both Jumped and landed on the ground, they were shocked then they became best friend and off they went on an adventure.

If I was alive 2792 years ago and was invited to compete in the first ever ancient Olympic Games I would have to pick out of 6 events. Running, wrestling, boxing, pankration, horse racing and pentathlon. Out of the choices I would have to pick boxing because it is on of my favorite sport. Boxing is a great sport It can help you get fit and It will help you increase your speed.

- He was a six time Olympic Victor
- Won 7 crowns at the Pythias Games
-His daily diet allegedly consisted of 20 lb of meat, 20 lb of bread, and eighteen pints of wine.

Winter summer learning journey Day 1 activity 3 (BONUS)

During the ancient Olympic Games, men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from even watching the Olympic Games. I think that this is an unfair because of women's should've been able to compete even to watch because what's wrong with having ladies watching or even participating in games . Women should have the same opportunity to play like the men.

Book Characters 2016

Today was a very special day for our school. It was our book week, we all had to dress up in our own costumes I was a character in the book of Naruto I was Obito. We all had lovely costumes some people came with Spiderman, nerds, batman, princess, game characters. Etc.

It was so awesome seeing other people celebrating book week. We celebrated book week so we can acknowledge reading. It was so surprising hearing the we were going to have a Duffy assembly, our special Guest was our roe model Josephine Bartley. Suddenly it was time to go to the hall. By the time we got there we all had to gather in our class and wait for our Room number to get called out.  

As Soon as our Room number had been called out we all stood up and off we went to the front of the hall. We had to say what we were and what book we are from.

After our lovely assembly we all walked around the hall showing of our awesome  costumes we all can back to our class because it was time for lunch. Overall it was a great time seeing others wearing different clothing it was and creatively moment.
